On Thursday, Year 4 performed a reenactment of the Battle of Hastings!  3P joined us to watch and Mrs Piper narrated the event. 

It was the celebration of our 1066 topic. We studied the contenders to the throne, made our own Bayeux Tapestry, wrote and performed play-scripts about the battle, designed and built motte and bailey castles and printed Anglo-Saxon designs to decorate our shields. We have had great fun and learnt a lot about this key moment in British history.
