Today, Mrs Cantini has held an assembly on Young Carers and what that means. This included who is a young carer and some of the responsibilities that may be involved in this role.

There are estimated to be 800,000 Young Carers in the UK, with 4,000 in Portsmouth. That is about 2/3 children in every classroom in every school. 

The assembly also included talking a little bit about the Portsmouth Young Carers Service and some of the things that they offer to Young Carers.
